Greyhawk Revelations

The Journey Begins

__*The party met at an inn called the Scarlet Chalice located at a rest stop waypoint on the Wild Coast. Jesarius had traveled there from Hommlett to attempt to recruit adventures to help aid Hommlett with a bandit problem. There he found a Dwarven Fighter named Garduk Brighthammer, a Hafling Thief named Torzeal Galesinger, Gnome Fighter/Thief named Miruu, a Half-elf Cleric/Fighter of St Cuthbert named Erion Airadan, & an Archer-ranger named ?. Having no mounts Miruu said she had someone at the outpost that owed her a favor & she could get them some mounts. Little did the party know but Miruu actually borrowed the horses from the stables without permission. This they did discover however while on enroute to Hommlett when the original owner, a cavalier of some renown came looking for them. Miruu expected this though & took the horses & hid them while Sir Whitworth the cavalier questioned her new friends. After ensuring that Sir Whitworth had left, the little Gnome returned to the camp with the mounts saying that they hadn’t been secured properly & she had to go retrieve them. When questioned about the nature of her aquisition of said mounts she stated that she got them from her contact & that she did not inquire as to how he came about them. The group continued to Hommlett. Upon arriving at Hommlett they stopped & spoke with a few of the locals. One such local, Sarus of Hommlett told them that they should seek out his son Elmo as he could serve as a guide to the party. The party made their way on into the village & did in fact run into Elmo & hired him. They then went to the Welcome Wench & got lodging. A short time later they discovered that a small caravan would be arriving on the morrow. This caravan was transporting for the local money changer & after speaking to him decided to go to where they believe the caravan will be camping during the last leg of their trip & hopefully prevent the bandits from taking the caravan. And so, we shall see if our heroes prevail, or will their adventuring careers be cut short before they even truly begin. Only time will tell. _*
